In e-commerce, business is measured by the speed of clicks and the continuity of supply chains. To slow that rhythm down and give the team a sense of touch again, an international e-commerce company asked for a 1040 sq.m office that feels closer to a fashion hub than to a traditional workplace. Technology is built into the look of a premium lounge, and the fashion hub aesthetic underlines the status of the company while keeping the team comfortable.
The project follows the resimercial approach, a blend of residential comfort and commercial efficiency. The architectural language is built on flexibility and movement: sharp corners and rigid zoning give way to smooth, flowing forms. The soft geometry of walls and partitions is paired with a custom abstract pattern that repeats across the whole space.
This graphic pattern becomes the visual code of the office. It stitches the functional zones into one whole and gives the interior a curated feel, like the flagship boutiques of global brands. Every detail follows one scenario, which supports the brand identity and turns the office into a curated art object.
Overhead, exposed services sit next to sculptural installations. Convex pendant lights with futuristic curves give soft, diffused light and also work for acoustic comfort. Perforated panels and felt elements make the rooms feel intimate: voices sound clear, and outside noise dissolves into the textures.
The layout offers a choice between deep focus and team dynamics. Instead of large open-plan floors, there are compact work zones that keep privacy inside small groups. Quiet private offices and phone booths serve tasks that need full silence or a quick call, and large meeting rooms host brainstorms and team meetings. Light, mobile furniture makes the office easy to transform, so it can grow together with the business.
The lounge zones are the centre of gravity of the office and a place for an analogue detox. Here the idea of home comes through in deep tactile textures: natural wood, soft velour and leather. The lounges have professional audio systems with vinyl turntables, and the chance to touch a record and hear live sound becomes a switching point for the team. Eclectic decor, delicate shelf lighting that makes the storage look almost weightless and carefully chosen art objects create a mood that invites creative work.
The floor works as an intuitive map of the office. Practical vinyl flooring is combined with concrete and wood textures in the walkways and with cosy rugs in the rest areas. Bright accent patterns on the rugs add character and break up the routine of the working day.
The social centre of the office joins a kitchen, a lounge and a bar into one multifunctional space. In the morning it is a spot for quiet coffee rituals and short talks. In the evening it adapts to corporate events, DJ sets or professional networking. Mobile furniture and the absence of rigid partitions let the space change its role quickly, from a private conversation to a large party.
An office for a global technology business can stay human and tactile. Here employees can step outside the digital routine and restore their creative energy through real physical sensations and comfort thought through to the smallest detail.
