Terracotta roof tiles, arched windows and light plaster preserve the Mediterranean character of Aphrodite House. COBALT refined the proportions of the arches and introduced slender metal frames to give the windows a lighter appearance. Folding glass doors connect the living room to the terrace and pool, opening the interior to the surrounding landscape.
The interior is defined by a considered combination of textures: expressive stone patterns, warm wood veneer and bespoke furniture with carefully coordinated wood tones. A monochromatic palette creates continuity throughout the home, while artworks introduce individual accents that complement the materials and colour scheme.
The layout, bespoke joinery and storage systems were designed around the family’s everyday routines. Dedicated spaces for work and privacy, a ground-floor master bedroom and integrated smart home technology support a comfortable and functional way of living.
The owners initially considered building a new house but wanted to preserve the panoramic views that drew them to the site. Through a thoughtful renovation, COBALT transformed the existing property into a home tailored to the family’s lifestyle, with the landscape of Aphrodite Hills remaining an integral part of the experience.
